Plain-language summary (not a substitute for the text below). Fees are annual and prepaid. Once an AgentID is issued the year is non-refundable — except that EU/EEA and UK consumers may withdraw within 14 days and are refunded the unused portion; duplicate charges are always refunded; and we refund prepaid periods if we terminate for convenience or you reject a change to the Terms.
Language. This document is drafted in English. Translations are provided for convenience only; in case of conflict the English text prevails. Operator. 1. General rule
All fees are payable annually in advance and, subject to the exceptions below, are non-refundable and non-transferable once the AgentID has been issued or the subscription activated. Turning off auto-renewal stops future charges; it does not refund the current period.
2. Consumers in the EU/EEA, the United Kingdom and other jurisdictions with a statutory right of withdrawal
2.1 If you are a Consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the day of conclusion without giving reasons, by using the “Withdraw from contract” function in the console, the model withdrawal form below, or an unequivocal e-mail to legal@agentid-registry.com. We confirm receipt on a durable medium without delay.
2.2 Because the service (issuance and maintenance of an AgentID, verification, database access) is a digital service that begins during the withdrawal period at your express request, you acknowledge that if you withdraw after the service has started you must pay an amount proportionate to what has been provided until you informed us of the withdrawal, calculated as the annual fee multiplied by the number of days elapsed divided by 365 (this proportionate amount already accounts for any set-up or verification cost, which is not charged separately). The remainder is refunded within 14 days of withdrawal using the original means of payment. On withdrawal the AgentID is revoked with status “withdrawn”.
2.3 Where a purchase is digital content delivered in one act (for example a skill-certification report), you may be asked to expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal, in accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.
2.4 Nothing in this Policy limits statutory guarantees or remedies for defective services under the law of your country of residence.
3. Duplicate, erroneous or unauthorised charges
Duplicate or erroneous charges, and charges you show were unauthorised, are refunded in full within 5 business days of notice to hello@agentid-registry.com. Please contact us before initiating a chargeback; unjustified chargebacks may lead to suspension until the amount is settled.
4. Refunds initiated by the Operator
If the Operator terminates for convenience (Terms, Section 15.2(a)), discontinues a paid feature that is core to your plan, or you terminate because you reject a material change (Terms, Section 3.2), prepaid fees for periods not yet started, and a pro-rata amount for the remainder of the current period, are refunded.
5. Suspension and revocation for breach
No refund is due for periods during which an AgentID was suspended or quarantined for breach, or after revocation for breach.
6. Subscriptions and renewals
Subscriptions renew annually. You may cancel any time before the renewal date in the console; cancellation is no more burdensome than sign-up and takes effect at the end of the paid period. Renewal reminders are sent 30, 7 and 1 days before the renewal date. For Consumers in jurisdictions that require it, an online cancellation function (“cancel button”) is available in the console. An automatic annual renewal is a continuation of the existing contract and does not itself start a new 14-day withdrawal period, save where mandatory law provides otherwise.
7. Crypto-asset payments
Payments made in crypto-assets are converted on receipt by our licensed provider; refunds under this Policy are made in the fiat equivalent received by the Operator, to a bank account or card designated by you, and not in crypto-assets.
